- The Bible contains God's plans and purposes for this world.
In a speaking God who has revealed himself through books in the Bible.
- Expository
preaching (preaching through a book in the Bible to help us understand
how it fits with the whole) is the common approach to understand the
scriptures.
- God's word provides us with everything that is necessary to live well in God's world.
We want to help people understand how God's story engages with our
story, and equip people at All Saints to serve God in the world.
We encourage people to study, meditate and apply scripture to every area of life.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path"
(Psalm 119:105)
"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may
grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is
good" (1 Peter 2:2-3).
Our preaching series at All Saints seeks to balance teaching in the following major categories over a given period.
Origins, God's redemptive plan, ancestor, big picture e.g. Pentateuch, Ruth, Gospels.

Learning from Jesus and the apostles e.g. Easter, Christmas, Bible, the cross, the Nicene Creed.
The Mission of the Church; understanding the role of the people in
evangelism e.g. Ephesians and Acts. Includes guest speakers.
Expository and topical preaching for Christian growth, ethics and care
for others e.g. Wisdom literature, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Sermon on the
Mount, Stewardship, Prayer, Apologetics.
